Its A Ducky Day

Bad weather + days off work = good duck hunting!  Or, as my dad would say, "Its a Ducky Day!"

Here is Cory, Chris and Chris' friend Brandon posing with their wood ducks.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day Cory and I went to Nacogdoches to celebrate with my family this year. We opened gifts and then had a fabulous dinner of rack of lamb, cooked by my dad.  Cory got a smoker and I can't wait until he fixes us supper soon.

The next day we spent time at the farm and then came home to watch football.

Christmas Eve

Cory and I just wanted to relax this Christmas Eve (especially me and my swollen feet after work today) and spend a nice evening together. Tomorrow morning we are heading to Nacogdoches to spend Christmas with my family this year. Everyone knows that our dogs are our kids (until April at least) so we let them open one gift on Christmas Eve.  Howdy got a new little toy beaver an I am sure it's feet and face won't last long. Hooch got a little cat toy (sounds crazy, but it is the only toy I have ever seen him play with electively which we discovered at my parent's house). He loves this little toy so much... or maybe he is now addicted to the catnip...

Rice Krispie House

Braydee and Brackyn stayed over this past Friday night.  First we went to Christmas in the Park on Friday night and then got pizza.  Saturday morning we played around the house, watched the Disney channel, and made Rice Krispie Houses.  Braydee and Brackyn each got to make their own house and both did a great job! (Expect Brackyn kept eating the candy decorations that I helped her place on her house!)
