Cory's Birthday

Last night we went to the Lakeside Icehouse (better known as "the Hook") for Cory's birthday.  Cory's parents (Ma and Papa), Stephanie, Chris, Braydee, Brackyn, Ginger, Ryan, and Jackson all came out to help us celebrate.  We had a good time, except the music is a lot louder than I remember (I wonder if that accompanies aging....)

I asked the employees if they do anything embarrasing for people's birthdays there, but they said they didn't do that.... what a bummer!  So we just had to sing him happy birthday ourselves.

Memorial Day Weekend

   For Memorial Day weekend, we packed up the dogs, bags, the baby and baby items (and wow- for such a small baby, we had a LOT of stuff!) and strolled into Nacogdoches looking like the Clampetts.  Jenna came down from North Carolina with her new boyfriend, Zach, to meet the parents.  We hung out doing "Texas" things for Zach such as going to the farm, deer lease, and cooking large amounts of BBQ.  It was a fun weekend and the first time Jenna was able to meet Gracin.  Gracin was very good the whole weekend, except during her witching hour, typically around 8-10pm, which of course was the same time we tried to eat everynight and visit!!  It was a fun weekend though, and hopefully we didn't scare Zach too much!
