Gracin's First Birthday Party!

  This past weekend we had Gracin's first birthday party at the Shaffer's Farm!  Family and friends were all able to join us to celebrate (with family being nice enough to help out with the prep work) and the party turned out great.  We had a bit of an owl theme going on simply because her highchair pattern inspired me beforehand.  Enjoy the pics!

The day after the party, Gracin was trying out the nap mat Lindsey made for her.  She loved the soft minky dot blanket and the pillow! Thanks for your hardwork Lindsey- now any advise on getting her to STAY on the mat? :)

The day before the party, my aunt, Oseasa (Lisa) and Ashley came over and gave Gracin her gift early... a sandbox!  YAY!  The day after the party we filled it up and started playing.

Picture Update!

Well Miss Gracin is almost 11 months old, where has the time gone?!  She is currently crawling around at full speed, pulling up on furniture and standing up solo.  She has 6 teeth- four big top teeth and two little bottom teeth. Her palate is also expanding to more table food- some of her favorites are bananas, talapia, cheese, whole peas and animal crackers.

So unhappy that mommy was trying to feed her!  She was going through a phase where she had to feed herself... however, she has not yet mastered using utensils and was not ready for all of her meals to be finger foods at that time. So I finally gave in and let her get messy  :)
